From Exclaim Magazine:
Stolen From Africa
By Thomas Quinlan
While the audience may have proved to Americans 7L & Esoteric why Toronto is called the “Screwface Capital” with thrown bottles and booing, local rap group Stolen From Africa set the bar high right before by receiving nothing but the love they deserved. Sporting black and white Canadian flags, the trio rocked a tight, energetic set with plenty of group integration and interaction, a positive message and banging beats*. They also invited Boona to the stage for an impressive spoken word piece. But when guest K.D.B. dropped two solo tracks, it lacked group interaction and closed their set on a slight low note.
